President of Ghana Opens Newly Built Hospital Exclusively Equipped by LINET®
The modernization of healthcare in Ghana continues with LINET®.
New Bekwai Municipal Hospital is the result of several years of effort and a total investment of 22.33 million euros. Located near Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region, the Bekwai municipality has acquired a top medical workplace offering comprehensive health care with a capacity of 120 beds.
LINET®, with the support of its partner company Lifecare Technology Ghana, delivered Praktika beds, Combinea bedside cabinets, and serving tables to the hospital. The delivery, which comprehensively covered the hospital's need for beds, also included 2 SPRINT® stretchers. At the beginning of November, the grand opening of the hospital took place with the participation of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. His presence confirmed the importance of the new facility and the government's commitment to improving the entire healthcare system.
"In Ghana, we have been supporting the development of new hospitals for a long time. The progressive approach, with an emphasis on quality and longevity of the equipment, is completely in line with the LINET® philosophy. Modern medical facilities equipped with our beds increase the level and availability of quality health care in Ghana," said Jitka Stranska, Managing Director LINET® MEA. The first shipment from LINET® was sent in 2013, and today the number of beds delivered to Ghana, in cooperation with their partner company, has reached two thousand products.
